A Laid-Back Autumn Day

Another beautiful autumn day in Kamakura. With perfect weather and no particular plans, I spent the day taking things easy. A few household chores, a walk with Anne, and some quiet time to reflect on the future. Sometimes, that's all it takes to make a good day.

Another beautiful, sunny autumn day.

The temperature and humidity were just right, making it a very pleasant day.

I didn't do anything particularly special. I just took it easy and enjoyed a laid-back day.

Of course, that doesn't mean I sat around doing nothing.

I took Anne for a walk, cooked some rice while looking after the house, tidied up the garden, and washed the car.

Before I knew it, the whole day had flown by.

 

The week began with an academic conference, followed by a little work, and then a somewhat belated summer vacation.

And now, that week is coming to an end.

I also had time to think about various things, including what lies ahead in my life.

All in all, it was a good week.

And today was a good day, too.

There's still a little of it left, so I think I'll spend the remaining hours taking it easy.
